Sales for Canada’s Lowest Cost to Own Vehicle Jumps 174%
Mississauga, ON – July 4, 2022 – Mitsubishi Motor Sales of Canada, Inc. (MMSCAN) today reported second quarter results with 5,854 vehicles delivered during the quarter.
With surging gas prices, saving money at the pump is top of mind for Canadians. With 829 vehicles delivered, the Mitsubishi Mirage representing a 174% increase year over year. The Mitsubishi Mirage was named by Vincentric as Canada’s Lowest Cost to Own Vehicle in 2022 based on Vincentric’s comprehensive analysis of the segment. Mitsubishi Mirage is the most fuel efficient non hybrid vehicle in Canada with a starting MSRP of under $15,000.
RVR led sales with 1928 vehicles sold during the quarter, also 1797 Outlander, 590 Outlander PHEV and 710 Eclipse Cross were delivered to customers.
The company has sold 12,547 vehicles year-to-date consistent 2021 same time period (12,179), one of the company’s best years on record.
