· Total Sales of 18,159 units in the first half of 2026

MISSISSAUGA, ON, July 9, 2026 – Mitsubishi Motor Sales of Canada (MMSCAN) has wrapped up a strong first half of the calendar year, led by sales of the 2026 Outlander and the rest of the brand’s Canadian sport utility vehicle lineup.
For the first six months of 2026, MMSCAN had total sales of 18,159 units. Though it’s a 4% decrease over the same period last year, it’s the third-straight year the brand has started the first half of the calendar year with more than 18,000 units sold. The sales result comes despite a challenging economic market and uncertainties in the automotive industry that have lead to more hesitant consumers.
The value-packed RVR compact SUV has been the sales leader for Mitsubishi Motors in Canada this year with 5,353 units sold. Outlander had total sales of 5,255 units, Outlander PHEV sold 4,868 units and Eclipse Cross sold 2,683 units.
Mitsubishi Motors continues to work toward its Momentum 2030 product strategy, with an expanded 2027 lineup rolling out over the coming months. The 2027 RVR goes on sale in August, Outlander in October, Outlander PHEV in January, and the Eclipse Cross in February. Joining the lineup for 2027 will be the Eclipse Sportback Battery Electric Vehicle, which will go on sale in early fall. The previously announced Outlander rugged edition will go on sale in the spring as a 2028 model.
